I’m thirteen, and I live in Libertyville, Illinois, about 40 miles north of Chicago.

I started taking piano lessons at age 6 and have loved playing ever since then. I started playing the violin at age 4 and play the viola in a chamber quartet. This year we won third place at the 2005 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.

My sister, Christine is ten and plays the violin and the piano, but neither of my parents is musical, though my Mom loves to sing and perform Chinese opera.

I like to play and listen to F. Chopin pieces the most, but I also enjoy some J. S. Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven.

I like computers, video games, movies, and books. I read a lot, especially fantasy and science fiction. I like to play basketball, tennis, and ping-pong. Sometimes I like to play football.

I like almost everything to eat, pasta, sushi, dim sum, and ice cream.
