Ken Hardin

Ken Hardin is a familiar figure to local audiences as pianist for the Music in the Mountains Festival Choral. He is also organist at Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley.

He received a Bachelors Degree in both Music and Voice from California State University at Northridge, while performing professionally as a jazz pianist in Los Angeles. At Northridge, he served as pianist for the vocal department and was music director for the theater department for five years, a job which included composing music for one of their productions.

In 1988, Mr. Hardin began his association with Music in the Mountains. He also serves as conductor of Orchestra Panache for Twin Cities Concert Association and performs extensively with his jazz ensemble, the Ken Hardin Trio.
