I live now in Vancouver, I moved here last October
to study with Mr Lee, but I come from Casalmaggiore, a small town where
Mr. Lee used to teach for summer courses. I studied in Conservatorio di
Parma.
I love all the food, but especially Italian (of
course), sushi and Chinese kitchen which in Vancouver are great and I'm
quite an advanced cook, I cook almost every day. (by the way I think
playing the piano and cooking are quite similar) I love coffee, in fact
I had to pray my mum to send me coffee and machine from Italy and I'm
glad she did it.
I studied at the Italian Liceo Classico
many humanistic subjects such as Latin, classic Greek languages and
literatures which are always with me. I am very interested in
Chemistry, Ethics, Philosophy, Psychology and History expecially Roman,
Greek and earlier.
I have learnt to love all the composers I
know well, therefore finding out which composer I like the most seems
to me as choosing the member of my family I love the most...! Same
thing with people, I can say I felt in love with some composers
immediately and with other it took to know them well, first. But there
is a composer who has very special place in my heart...
About
my family... my father and mother have nothing to do with classical
music (my father was discjockey), but my grandfather loves opera. By
the way I think both my parents have very good taste for music, in fact
I was growing up with a lot of Elton John, Barry White and Supertramp.
My brother is 15, he started to play the piano and quickly left. He
prefers basketball, in fact when I lived in Italy we played a lot
together. He is very interested in planes. My sister is 8, she is
wonderful and she currently attends ballet classes.
